Occupying My Desk - Fashionably -

For all those who are not in New York right now, today marks "May Day", which is a day that only gives occupiers from Occupy Wall Street another excuse to play their handmade instruments and yell at everyone wearing a suit. While I do not follow the suit regime, I do work for the man of 'Corporate America' and will continue to do so with style. I also don't know how to make my own instruments. Kudos to those who do. Oh look, a style sequence!

Please disregard my non-flawless face, take it for what it is.

I like to be comfy/cozy/chaschic on rainy days. It feels like I'm wearing classy pajamas to work. Just throw on some layers, jeggings, and a necklace that makes no sense with your ensemble and you're good to go! Only thing missing is my messy chignon, which is presented to the public on the reg.

To unfrump oneself, add a belt to "suck it in" and add some shape. 60% of the time, it works every time.

Bring on the BOOTS! I mistakenly wore my taupe suede Vince Camuto boots today; while gliding in the rain and making a dash for the subway the boots met with water but thankfully dried unscathed. Check out my blue seat! Super comf. Again, goes along with today's theme.

Love the look? Here's a breakdown: Chambray shirt: J.Crew; Necklace: Banana Republic; Sweater & Belt: Urban Outfitters; Jeggings: Rag & Bone; Boots: Vince Camuto

Ciao!

These disillusioned hipsters are like a parasite infecting the New York working class like its host. They need to put down there signs and start lining up at Kinkos to print a resume.

Someone needs to speak up and start moving these mindless herds of sheep towards adopting the mindset that it is more essential to seek success than it is fashionable to condemn it.
