Heidi Klum Looks Better Single

I don't know what it is, but I feel like most women look horrible after getting a divorce (and rightfully so). 

Heidi Klum is not one of them. 

Sporting an electric yellow Versace number with her "Duvette" patent nude and gold CL pumps, she made her way through the crowd and on the off-white carpet to do the "look over the shoulder and let my legs, ass, and open back do the talking" stance, which did nothing but enhance her credibility that yes, ladies, there is more to life than feeling sorry for yourself over a troubled marriage/relationship/whatever. Just go out, buy a sick outfit, pair it with some Loubies and make sure to get a photo-op as much as you can to make your ex feel like shit.

Get it girl.

Who Wore the RED...Soles That Is? 2012 Academy Awards Edition

I LOVED last night's Oscars! And here's why...

We won't go into complete detail of every look that graced down the Red Carpet or sparkled on stage because that's a laundry list in itself. 

However, we can acknowledge that when celebs were asked the vital question of the night, "Who are you wearing?", they did not leave out one of their most essential pieces to completing a look... and no, it's not Spanx. It's Loubies.

It's 5" Friday

Welcome to the first ever 5" Friday post! Every Friday,our lovely new TRSD correspondent, SZ, and I will be  going on our Loubie adventures in NYC in our 5-inch stilettos. We'll be taking pictures, posting about our experiences, and taking the city by storm because that's what happens when you wear Louboutins! Since it's totally nar-nar out, we will be posting today from our home-base...the office.

Today, I paired my "Decollette" CL pumps in black with my Rag & Bone "Surf Knit" jeggings and a chambray shirt from J.Crew. SZ is wearing her "Rolando Hidden-Platform Pump, Patent Leather" CL's in gunmetal gray with black tights, her H&M dress in cream and blazer in raspberry. On Mr. Griffin, he is wearing a track suit sponsored by "Kia" in fire engine red with white detail. Oh, almost forgot, he has a Loubie on each foot too! 

Can we say, awesome?

Just to get the full round of Kardashian in my blog, let's look at Kourtney's "Rolando Hidden-Platform Pump" in a natural snakeskin color during her mid-day outing to the Kardashian Klan store, DASH, in Calabasas. Cute outfit, yeah?

Loubies Take Over London Fashion Week

Mr. Louboutin had quite the busy week during London Fashion Week as his sexy soles appeared in not 1, not 2, but 6 shows! Check out the models below sporting different variations of his exclusive heels for the Fall 2012 Michael Van Der Ham collection.

Silmiar to the "Suede and Leather Criss-Cross Colorblock" heel, these long-legged ladies stood in line while sporting mixed bold prints in hues of red, green and purple to create statement ensembles for the Fall 2012 Jonathan Saunders show. I love the ankle straps; it feels like they are tied in with the outfit, as if they were meant to be there. They are thick and prominent pieces of the shoe without any apologies.

Indeed, I do love a sparkly shoe. What girl doesn't? Especially pink ones. Notice the ankle strap on these CL's are much more dainty and ballet/showgirls like! Instantly, my mind went to Vegas girls who wear the massive headdresses made of large feathers and perform at the casinos; but these of course are pure class, dipped in sass. Designer Mark Fast included these coveted shoes in his Fall 2012 collection, and I couldn't be more excited that electric lavender pink is considered an option for color for the Fall/Winter season. Where's my credit card....

Celebrity Loubie Sightings: Kim Kardashian

I feel like I should have blogged about her love for Loubies a long time ago, but whatever, she gets enough press and recognition. Right? However, it doesn't negate the fact that Kimmy K. is an avid Louboutin wearer and her shoe collection is just as impressive as her sister's, Khloe.


If you can force to remove your stare at her extra large black Hermes Birkin bag, lower your eyes to her shoes. She's cat-walking across the JFK terminal in her "Bye Bye Leather and Suede Cutout Ankle Boots" in beige, pairing them with roughed up folded skinnies, a cream long-sleeved turtleneck and a long fur vest. I personally love this outfit since it's not her usual loud/body-hugging ensemble. However, I'm sure she won't keep this up for long.

Across the Pond, The Design Museum Celebrates Louboutin!

Exciting news! The Design Museum in London will be hosting an exhibition between May 1st - July 9th, 2012 "sole" ly dedicated to Christian Louboutin and his 20 years of success. To go more in depth, the exhibition will allow all museum and Louboutin lovers alike to absorb into the history, process, challenges, and overall journey from the start of his career to where he currently stands as a fashion pioneer.

Additionally, attendees will be able to see how a single sole is constructed, the ways in which the shoes are produced, and how all of his creations start out from colorful sketches. 

You will be invited to get lost in his world of power, pleasure, and everything BUT practicality. Enjoy the ride!

Mr. and Mrs. Jay-Z Have LoubSANITY

Considering she just had a baby about a month ago, B is lookin' good! Fresh-faced and all smiles, she and her hip-hop hubby made their way to the Knicks vs. Nets game last night at Madison Square Garden in New York, NY. 

Apparently, Beyonce finds that wearing her 6-inch "Daffodil" platforms to NBA games are the perfect opportunity to showcase her beauties as the arena provides the appropriate flooring to ensure she doesn't trip, scuff, or do an all out "Single Ladies" dance while trying to be nonchalant in her court-side seat. Obvi.

It's Here! The Capsule Collection!

The "Pensee" Pump

How...effing...cute...are...these...LOUBIES?! I know, let it sink in. It's too exciting. 


I think my favorite are the shimmering silver; so retro chic and they seem to reflect well off the lighting. Although, I can't help but find solace and comfort that the vibrancy of the yellow immediately reminds me of my childhood and playing with my Barbies (nevermind the yellow shoe and the red backdrop create a contrast that is so eye-catching and upbeat). The black chooses to run down a different path, creating drama and also informs us that those who wear the shoe will feel like a flirty vixen. It's playful and sexy without saying too much, but saying just enough. 


These are only just a few designs of the Capsule Collection that have been brought to life from this one drawing (they also happen to be my favorite!)

The newest H&M campaign is genius. Why? Because David Beckham's package is not only front and center, but I'm also an advocate of the brand. Here I am, staring at my computer screen eating PopChips and gawking at the fact Victoria Beckham is married to a human this hot. It's unfair. 


Nevertheless, Victoria is grabbing her man's extreme life-size "quivering member" (if you know what movie that is from, we are now besties) in a cute long-sleeve black and white printed mini while wearing her "Highness" Louboutin peep-toe platforms...in nude. Catch the theme here? It just seems to good to be true. 


What was David's reaction you might ask when this photo went viral?

Aren't we all? If you haven't done so already, please take a minute to scream in your pillow/coat/out in the office/at your boyfriend or husband for not being David Beckham/etc, and let out the frustration that he will never be ours.

My Favorite Betch: The Man Repeller

Okay so, I have a favorite blogger. She goes by the name The Man Repeller, but her birth-given name is Leandra Medine. I think she should just keep it as The Man Repeller (because it's awesome and totally refreshing). 

She has the sass, whit, and closet that any girl would kill for. Seriously, this chick has got it all and by the by she was my inspiration for this blog. She's also an avid Christian Louboutin wearer, so needless to say I love her already. Obvi.

Men & Their Loubies...Yup, It Exists

It's no secret that women aren't the only ones who are willing to drop some major money on a pair of red hot hued shoes, just ask today's chicest rap artists Pharrell Williams and Kanye West. They probably even rap about it their songs, I mean I would...if I were a rapper? 

So CHECK IT! Pharrell Williams and Kanye West know their shit when it comes to fashion and pretty much what to comes to being famous. We can never keep our eyes off them and they can never keep their hands off the models (ahem, Amber Rose?). 

Despite the fact Amber Rose is wearing a dress made of black floss, Kanye still looks dapper in his velvet blazer, leather pants, and the "Rollerball Loafer" Louboutin shoe. Not to mention, they are both wearing black sunglasses because it's so bright in the room they're standing in...

Pharrell Williams....(*day dreaming*) is smooth. His vocals, style, and overall swag is greatly admired from ladies all over the world. Just look at his music videos! *Hot & Fun!*

Don't you just love a guy who wears the basic jeans and white-tee? Simple, clean-lined, and fuss-free! Guys - please take note of the V-neck, a little goes a long way. 

Here we see Mr. Williams sporting "The Freddy Flat" loafer (left) and the "Louis Studded Sneaker" (right)...while dressed in the classic jeans and white-tee ensemble. Chic alert!

Not to put our men on the spot, but, if you can afford buying your weekly rounds of drinks for your bros and lady friends + trips to your local Abercrombie & Fitch (dear god, no) + your rent...I think you can spend a little extra on a pair of Levi's, a packet of Hanes white V-neck tees, and a pair of Loubie kicks. Just saying...
