Celebrity Loubie Sightings: Rachel Zoe

Rachel Zoe, the woman who pretty much coined the phrase "I die" and the word "bananas", looks like a pretty wild animal wearing her Valentino zebra print, off the shoulder dress, black tights, and patent leather "Daffodile" platforms to the Valentino Rodeo Drive Flagship grand opening in Beverly Hills, CA. 

I wouldn't necessarily "die" for this ensemble, but it does go together well! Playing up the Spring trend of safari prints, I'll give her a 8 for effort (but a 10 for the shoes!).

Chic alert! Quick! Look fast, for a second her face resembles that of Rooney Mara. Twinsies...

The Girls of Sports Illustrated Swim Wear Their Loubies at the 2012 Jeffrey Fashion Cares AIDS Event

Oh shalom in the home! We are back in full action, starting off our 4-day week right with a little Kate Upton for our morning breakfast. She's blonde, sassy, and this year's Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover girl. Bravo! 


Last night, Ms. Upton showed up to the 2012 Jeffrey Fashion Cares for AIDS event in New York City donning a 3/4 sleeve LBD with her nude patent leather Swarovski bedazzled "SEX" Louboutin pumps. Ah yes, the old trick of elongating the stems with a nude-colored shoe. Works every time.

Irina Shayk looked beautiful in this bright blue hue! We are really digging the t-shirt sleeve and the collar on this body-hugging ensemble. Not sure if we would've chosen a deep burgundy shoe to pair with the dress, however we will give her praise where praise is due and that is she wore her "N299 150mm Mary Janes Suede" platform Louboutins.

Last night Kristen Bell attended ‘A Night at Sardi’s’, which marked the 20th anniversary of the Alzheimer’s Association at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in California, rocking a Reem Acra mini dress in a vibrant cobalt blue. She paired her simple ensemble with gorgeous beaded "Devidas" Christian Louboutins! I've never seen anything these before, look how amazing they are.

In the latest campaign for luxury beauty brand, Helena Rubinstein, 49-year old brand ambassador Demi Moore was shot looking literally wrinkle-less/flawless/almost robotic considering she just got out of rehab. Understandably speaking, this is an ad and Photoshop is used pretty much everywhere in the world of advertising. Whateva, look at her Loubies! 


Reflecting the red of the soles to her red lips and nails is no coincidence, it screams "I'm red, and I'm awesome, so buy me." That's exactly what Loubies say to me when I bring out the credit card. Sigh...gets me every time.

Having A Loubie Political Moment: When Dictators' Wives Love Louboutins

This morning I opened up my web browser to hop on to Google and what do I see in my daily alerts? I see the title in big, blue, hyperlinked letters " Louboutin is the Perfect Shoe for a Dictator's Wife" and immediately thought this was a genius article, because in this case it's so true.

If you haven't been following the most recent current events regarding Syria, then you may not know that the First Lady of Syria, Asmaa al-Assad, has a serious shopping "problem" and has made it quite known to the world. 


As the wife of  Bashar al-Assad, she has a plethora of green at her disposal. Last Thursday, a personal email written and sent by Mrs. Assad, was hacked and leaked to the media. The email dished on her recent luxurious expenditures and how much money she racked up on her husband's dime. Christian Louboutins were in the mix of these hefty purchases and honestly I can't hate on it. 

However, I will say this. If Mrs. al-Assad can spend $46,000 on candle sticks and a chandelier then she can certainly pay for an entire African country to have food and clean water. 

And that's my political POV for the day. On to happier and brighter discussions...

When Models Wear Loubies, People Pay Attention. FACT.

It's a known fact that models are freaks of nature, where they seem to be perfect in every way possible and for the most part they are from some exotic or foreign part of the world. What's even more obnoxious, every Thursday is IMG Models casting day so needless to say I always happen to grab my afternoon sweet treat from Starbucks at that exact time those Size - 0 betches show up to the offices. Awesome.

Aye Mami! Sofia Vergara Rocks Louboutins at PaleyFest 2012!

Que linda! Yes, I do speak minimal Spanish with a dash of "glish." Nothing to brag about really, but still it seems right to start speaking in the language in honor of Ms. Sofia Vergara! She looks incredible; I hope to look that great when I'm 39. 

March 14th marked The Paley Center for Media’s PaleyFest 2012 event, held at the Saban Theater in Beverly Hills. The event was held to recognize and celebrate the hilarious and witty television series Modern Family, the spectacle that Ms. Vergara is heavily a part of. 

We see her strike the familiar "pop the knee" pose, dressed in a black lacy strapless Dolce & Gabbana adorned with jewels and accessories from her own KMart line! Don't forget about those shoes...the "Jenny Knotted Pump" in black leather. Tres chic. Okay now I'm speaking French...just call me the Rosetta stone!

The Party Keeps On...

If you haven't been keeping up with your Loubie news, then you probably don't know that this year marks the 20th Anniversary of Christian Louboutin's milestone of successes with his glorious red soles. To mark this wonderful feat, he has created and presented the newest "Capsule Collection," which is available to browse and purchase on his website and at all high-end retailers. 

We've seen the glam photos and party-hopping escapades unveiled over the last few weeks, which continued last night at the Neiman Marcus store in the Windy City! How fun! If you were able to make it to the event, hope you ate, drank, and sashayed your way to a new pair of eye-catching pumps. Every girl deserves a pair...or two.

I don't know about you, but I haven't seen or heard about AnnaLynne McCord in the tabloids in quite some time. Keeping a low profile perhaps? Not wanting to face the fact that Kellan Lutz has moved on to another honey-blonde? Don't worry ALM, he's been seen rocking the "Spencer Pratt" flesh colored beard lately and in no way is that sexy.

Kiernan Shipka is 12 and She's Wearing Louboutins

...everyone relax it's for an editorial piece in the latest issue of Grazia magazine. But seriously...she's 12 and looks 16. Is that even normal? 

Mad Men star Kiernan Shipka shows off her tiny frame and versatility in Grazia, while giving us the inside scoop of how her parents do not allow her to watch the full show because she's too young, but she CAN watch her own scenes. However, all age-isms aside that Versace studded LWD is too cute for words. I'm also loving the glittery Loubies with the thick, square, kitten heel. 


(Hold the phone, here comes a critique: a high bun would have looked more youthful and would have better aided the overall ensemble considering she is almost reaching that ballerina-esque portrayal...and she's 12.)

Newly-blonde Rihanna was spotted out in New York City last night looking somewhat "Where's Waldo" meets Gordon Bombay, the hockey coach/man with the best hair from one of the greatest early 90's films of all time The Mighty Ducks. We should be giving credit to the Trapstar Bobble Hat that she's wearing, but no offense to either shoutout, it just brings me back to my youth for a minute.  

After leaving dinner at Emilio's Ballato Restaurant in SoHo, photogs caught her wearing Acne Fever Trash torn denim jacket and Alexander Wang Stretchy Viscose Leggings. To complete her look she paired her black patent leather "Pigalle" CL pumps.

Rihanna is always pushing the fashion limits and last night was no different. I guess this is what they call "Hipster Chic"? I'll take it.

Neons for Eons and Eons

One of my favorite trends is the annual punch of neon items that come full circle whether it be in the Spring or Summer, and in this case Christmas is coming early for me. I love brights, even though today I am wearing head to toe what I like to call "Brack" - a non-astonishing mix of black and brown...womp womp. 


In honor of Daylight Savings Time, let's celebrate the fact that Spring is just around the corner and wearing an assortment of neon is really just a welcome sign with open arms.  I will engage in this welcoming...starting tomorrow. Town & Country: An Unforgettable Editorial of Love & Louboutins

Keeping on with the wedding vibe, I'm sitting here writing my second entry of the day and the song "She Will Be Loved" by Maroon 5 is soothingly seeping through my headphones. How appropriate of a song to play for this post. You'll soon see why. 

In the latest issue of Town & Country Weddings, a couple's on and off again relationship leads to matrimony with the help of Mr. Christian Louboutin's willingness to help the proposer receive the official "Yes" to the question that would change everything. 

We don't know Joey, but we think Joey is a genius. What better way to propose to your significant other than to give her something that she'll never forget: a customized proposal with the blessing of Christian Louboutin. Good job, Joey. Let's be friends.

The "I Do's" & Such: Wedding Edition Part Un

(Bride being walked down the aisle by her Father, little blurry but so presh)

Saturday afternoon marked the initial kick-off of "life as newlyweds, and so on" for my dear friends who were married in an exorbitantly large cathedral with tall Gothic ceilings and beautifully stained-glass windows by a priest who sounded like Ron Burgundy explaining love and what it really means in the eyes of God. However, my eyes couldn't stay focused on the ideas of love considering my love for Louboutins was overpowered ten-fold. I counted at least 10 ladies wearing their Loubies for this lavish wedding (including my own). Needless to say, I instantly felt right at home.

The ceremony was a full mass, dedicating every moment to not only the Catholic religion but also making ample room for the bride and groom. They stood upon the alter, hand in hand, looking stunning and as lost in love as a couple could possibly be. My friends and I couldn't help but cry and try to not let our mascara run down our faces as we watched our dear friend move on to the next phase of her life. So moving yet so exciting, because the next thing we knew, it was time to party. Bring on the hors' doeuvres!
