Celebrity Loubie Sightings: Cate Blanchett

Oh, hey girl!

(Image via JustJared.buzznet.com)

Cate Blanchett looked flawless last night in her Juan Carlos Obando/straight off the runway couture gown to W Magazine's Cocktail Party @ The Park Avenue Armory in New York, NY. I'm loving that punch of "Kelly" green peeking through her dress!

She completed her look with a pair of classy and sophisticated bronze-colored Loubies to enhance the statuesque vibe that is buzzing off of her.

I'd like to think she matched her enriched, fire-engine red pout with her pretty red soles, just to add some flair and consistency (...wishful thinking I suppose!)

What do YOU think of Cate's look? Post it here!

J.Crew's Jenna Lyons Discusses Possible Collaboration with Christian Louboutin

If you're a fashion freak like me, you probably already know and have seen the latest shoe collection and collaboration with J.Crew and Manolo Blahnik. Yeah. It's insane and I can't wait to purchase a pair!

However, Ms. Lyons is continuing to hint that a future collaboration with the great Christian Louboutin is not out of the question either. If this were to occur, I think that means Jesus resurrected or something.

Ms. Lyons says about the possible link “What we’d really like to do, especially for women’s, is a shoe collaboration where we maybe go to someone like Manolo Blahnik or Christian Louboutin."

As for now, we will just need to wait and see what unfolds between these two genius designers. Cross your fingers for some J.Louboutins!

The Loubies Go Out On The Town!!!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Valentine's Day! I know this is a few days late, considering today is Wednesday, but I wanted to provide you with some morning buzz on my ridiculous weekend.

"Oh hot damn, this is my jam..." was the ultimate theme song while prancing around MPD on Saturday night. I can't even tell you how much fun my bestie who flew in LA for the weekend, Candice, and I had dancing until the wee hours of the morning at one of my favorite spots, Hotel Gansevoort rooftop. (Mind you, we skipped the entire line, because who in their right mind would wait in line in 20 degree weather? ...exactly.)

Sipping on $32.00 vodka-sodas that were the size of a shot glass (with extra ice) and dancing/lyrically singing to the late Whitney Houston's "I Wanna Dance with Somebody" was the peak of our night. Wait, just kidding. Dancing/lyrically singing to Whitney Houston's "I Wanna Dance with Somebody" with the bouncers was the peak of our night!

Needless to say the "Decollettes" were out in full force! I paired these pumps with large diamond-print stockings, Tory Burch leather pants, a body-hugging leotard from American Apparel, and a Helmut Lang structured jacket. To complete the look, I opted for my black Rebecca Minkoff cross-body "M.A.C" bag - it holds everything and it's super chic.

Now, this outfit does not come out often and nor do I find it that appropriate to wear a barely-there top in the middle of winter. However, it was a special occasion! It is Fashion Week, I mean, hellooo?!

Might I add the dance floor was packed with cougars on the prowl for their 25-year old minions/boy-toys so we had competition!! (Kidding, kidding...we both have boyfriends!)

Tonight, the Loubies will be making a special guest appearance at Lincoln Center for our girl, Anna Sui! We can't wait flash our red soles all over that venue :) Updates and pictures to come tomorrow morning. Stay tuned!

Happy Valentine's Day, Loubie Lovahs!

Strap these "Lola Montes" and get ready to spend a wonderful Valentine's Day with your lovie!

I'm a big fan of these thigh-high boots because not only are they daring and sexy, but they're bright and offer a peek-a-boo feel with the intricate "lace" effect. I recommend wearing them for only very "special" occasions, considering there's not much you can wear them with. Catch my drift?

If you're going for a more demure shoe, I recommend sticking to the basics. Why not opt for a smaller bootie, like the  "Daf Booty", as it offers sexiness, height, but leaves more to the imagination. Additionally, these can be worn with just about anything!

Try a cute high-waisted mini with black tights and a fun blouse. Not a skirt person? Try tucking your skinnies or even pair with fun leggings with an oversized sweater; add a furry vest for texture and layering.

Have a fabulous day and remember to wear your Loubies in honor of the signature holiday color - RED!

Celebrity Loubie Sightings: Kendall Jenner

It's no secret that anyone within the Kardashian Klan has an insane closet full of couture clothes and the most coveted shoes and handbags. Christian Louboutins are a favorite of the ladies and this goes without saying that the red sole covers their sectioned off/custom made shoe closets from top to bottom.

Kendall Jenner is no different than her sisters. Today, Kendall is showcasing her latest birthday gift from older sister, Kimmy, via Instagram. SEQUINED LOUBIES! How DASHing!

Happy Birthday, Miss Jenner and may all your Loubie dreams come true!

SPRING Back Into Action With Color!

Who's ready for the Spring to be here? Me! Considering this Winter has teased us more than necessary with our 50 degree weather and minimal snow falls, I'm greatly looking forward to wearing my cute skirts and floral blouses.

Additionally, I will be picking up a pair of these electric yellow/green "Pigalle" pumps without hesitation. Don't think I won't. ;)

Check out these new "Lady Lynch" pumps that have graced the website of Louboutin, in a bright, vibrant, and completely sun-glowed yellow that only creates more of a pop with that "sole-ful" red backdrop.

Wear these colorful pumps with white jeans, dark jeans, leggings, skirts, or dresses! They are beautiful for any and every occasion. If you're loving these Loubies, they are available now on the website at www.christianlouboutin.com.

What would YOU wear with these bright babies? Post it here!

Grammy Edition: Who Wore Red?

Last night's 54th Annual Grammy Awards celebrated not only the great Whitney Houston, Adele's rightfully deserved "Album of the Year" award, or Katy Perry's new blue hue hairdo (which I'm obsessed with) but also the fashion! Let's take a quick look at who rocked the Loubies last night!

Alicia Keys

Dressed in a body-hugging and gold plated Alexandre Vauthier LBD, accompanied by her "Bis Un Bout" CL ankle-strap pumps, the girl looked good (check out those structured shoulders)! Classic and elegant with a dash of wow. Well done, Ms. Keys.

Rihanna

Oh snap, Rihanna looks fierce! Here she is on the red carpet sporting a plunging Giorgio Armani number with the "Bis Un Bout" CL ankle-strap pumps, the same red puppies as Alicia Keys.

Rihanna went on to sing her latest hit "We Found Love" along with a duet with Chris Martin for their newest single "Princess of China". Round of applause for Rihanna.

What do YOU think of these ladies' Grammy ensembles? Love it? Hate it? Post it!

BL + CL = Love

Ever wonder would it be like to be the Muse for Christian Louboutin? Just go ask Blake Lively, she knows all about that! Ms. Lively and Mr. Louboutin were meant for each other in every way possible, and rightfully so, as she is now the proud owner of his ENTIRE 2012 Spring collection. Yes, it's true. You can only imagine my jealousy and awe of this news.

You can find Blake on the red carpets wearing the chicest ensembles and looking as glamorous as ever, without even really trying. You will also notice that her outfit is never without an exclusive pair of CL's to complete the look.

Seriously, how cute are they?! Here we have Ms. Lively being swept off her Loubie feet by none other than Mr. Louboutin himself at his book release party in New York, NY - Christian Louboutin Book: 20 Years. Naturally, her red soles match her couture red leather trench. Genius.

If you're looking for a fun, educational, and insightful read on the man himself and the beautiful creations that he is SOLELY responsible for, take a gander! It can be purchased on the website at http://www.christianlouboutin.com/#/book_20_years.

Thank you, Mr. Louboutin for making absolutely stunning pieces of art that all women, including your BFF, can enjoy for years and years to come!

Celebrity Loubie Sightings: LeAnn Rimes

Happy Weekend!

Check out those monster "Daffodil" platforms in the orange-red hue of HOT!

LeAnn put on her brave face while appearing on Chelsea Lately earlier this week, to which Chelsea discussed every inch of LeAnn's tabloid-incessant life. Everything from her "non-staged" bikini pictures to her questionable weight-loss; pretty much nothing was off limits.

As I was watching this interview, I couldn't help but stare at those shoes (never mind her black and white palm tree printed peek-a-boo mini)! She looked good, ugh I hate admitting that.

BUT THOSE SHOES! I can't help but wonder, how does she not fall over considering the heel looks like a pretty toothpick?

All in all, nice work.
